Mushroom Inoculation
Getting your tiny magic mushrooms spores into a substrate medium is a process know as mushroom inoculation. If you do not have a mushroom substrate you can make your own substrate using the alien substrate recipe. Or you can order pre-sterilized substrate if you do not have the time or tools to make your own.
Tips for Successful Mushroom Inoculation |
- Inoculate in a clean environment like a clean bathroom or kitchen.
- Wear gloves and a mask along with clean clothes.
- Wipe the you substrate needle with alcohol in-between inoculating each jar.
- Store inoculated substrate in a cool dark place around 70F (21C)
