Battlefield 3 Simulator brings Game to Life – Amazing Video!
This Battlefield 3 simulator makes the future of gaming looks interesting indeed. The Gadget Show in the UK has combined cutting edge technology and created a never before seen video game simulator that is truly impressive. Finally, no more hamster balls. Costing over half a million bucks the battlefield 3 simulator system brings the game to a whole new level of immersive gameplay.
The Battlefield 3 simulator was built around an omni-directional treadmill. The simulator took roughly six weeks to build and employs massive projectors for 360 degrees HD projection. A total of 12 kinnects were hacked in order to bring the Battlefield 3 simulator to life. The kinnects link to the in-game characters movements to your own. Topping everything off are rows of paintball guns which pepper you with real pain if your getting shot in the game. Fun huh!
Watching this Battlefield 3 simulator in action was some awesome jaw dropping shit. I would have loved to smoke a dank bowl then climbed in for some game time. The main parts of the show that left me disappointed were the facts that they never added 3-D or tried hooking it up to multi-player.
